Via de Bekaflaan en Cranenskapelstraat loopt het eerste gedeelte. Een mooie asfaltweg waar je met een groot verzet op kan. Geen problemen hier.
Dan klopt het echt dat je goed moet kijken waar je rechts moet inrijden. Het wegje is zo goed verstopt. Ik stond volledig stil toen ik rechts wou oprijden, dus zie dat je al meteen op de juiste versnelling staat. Je hebt geen tijd meer na de bocht om te schakelen.
Het is wel een muurtje, maar niet té steil of te lang. Je moet wat geluk hebben dat je ook geen tegenligger hebt, want het is een heel smal wegje.
Na het steilste stuk kan je groter schakelen als je wat over hebt en volgt er nog een uitloper die goed meevalt.
Leuke helling om je fietsmaatje eens te verrassen tijdens een rit ;)

Via de Bekaflaan kom je eerst mogelijks wat meer verkeer tegen, maar vanaf het kruispunt nader je een residentiële woonwijk. Houd je GPS goed in de gaten, want het steilste stuk van de klim volgt na een zeer scherpe rechtse bocht die enorm lijkt op een oprit van een huis.
Het vervolg van dit klimmetje verloopt steil, gevolgd door een uitloper die je een mooi overzicht geeft van de omgeving (indien je je niet hebt dubbelgeplooid).
Kortom: een zeer fijne klim buiten Aarschot, zelfs de omweg waard.
