With this climb to Cublington you can see it all coming, and what doesn't look very steep turns out to be quite tough, so it may surprise you before it's done. Nice countryside around. The full section of road from Whitchurch, up this Cublington climb, and then down an undulating descent towards Wing, is a great route.
Most of the climbing is on the one long straight. Could probably sprint it, but it would be tough. Moderate traffic, good surface and nice surroundings make it a pleasant little hill, if a little uninteresting.
