The starting point of this climb is a lovely bay with plenty of ladder points to help you climb down into the crystal clear waters. As you climb up toward El Pinar the scenery is amazing with views of La Gomera, and Mt Teide behind it. As you climb towards the peak the environment changes from volcanic rock to a winding road through lush forest. There is a decent view point at the top but you need to walk along a short gravel track to reach it.
