Nice little climb which never becomes really easy because it is a collection of steep bits together. It is always 50 metres to >10% and then flat again. And this is repeated several times. During the climb, you have a beautiful view of the valley. In the beginning, you rake yourself up through a beautiful sleepy Italian village. At the end, you come through a very cute village where there are many water points. If you are here, I would definitely do this climb. It is tough and beautiful.... read more

The first bit is pretty steep, but a very nice climb through small Italian villages. Most of the climb is in the shade, which is really nice. In Andrate you can resupply on water near the curch.

Quiet, well paved road with beautiful views of the valley.
Then a good descent. You also cycle through beautiful narrow Italian streets.
