As part of a 75-kilometre round trip from Bedoin did this climb after Mont Ventoux with descent to Malaucène, Col de la Chaine from Malaucène, Col de Champ Paga from La Fare and then via Caromb. After a short descent from the pretty village of Caromb, you climb over fine tarmac almost straight on a wavy road with occasional steep sections of 8-10 per cent. Reminded me a bit of climbing in the Black Forest where you also ride this way between the (wine and fruit) fields.

From Crillon-le-Brave, I had the climb to
Chapelle de la Madeleine but I rode the wrong way and so came back to the campsite via Bedoin via the other way to Chapelle de la Madeleine. Fine too, but I already knew that road through Bedoin well.

Short but nice climb. The road surface is very good and there are almost no cars on this road between the fields.
