Nice climb on the north-east side of Battice. The first kilometres are easy in terms of gradient and the climb is mostly between 3 and 5%. After 1 kilometre you get a really serious part of the climb and you have to work hard and it only flattens out just before the summit. After the top, a descent to Rue d' Aubel. Pay attention at the T-junction because it is very busy there and people are driving fast.... read more

Lovely climb up a quiet and slightly winding road through greenery. An excellent alternative to the busy road from Aubel. The start is still quiet but towards the end it gets more and more uphill (and you have nice views to the back). After the summit, a fairly steep descent that, however, stops very quickly at an obscure T-junction with the busy main road. So pay attention here.

Hier opletten dus.

Beautiful climb. Past the lovely little houses at the top the hard work begins. The radio mast at the top is the target. It is not a monster of a climb, but the percentages and the quietness on the road are such that you can easily decide how challenging you want it to be.
Indeed look out beyond the top! Goes down steeply, and without any overview you find yourself suddenly on the driveway of the busy main road from Aubel to Battice.

Mooie klim.

+ Be careful from the top! Goes down very steeply and suddenly the main road starts, right after a slight turn. You don't see that coming. Dangerous to roll down without braking.

Nice to see if you are cycling in the region. Do not underestimate, the last part is really tough. Road is wide and quiet, asphalt moderate.
