A beautiful backclimb which I had never done before because Aywaille has so many other beautiful climbs to offer. The climb starts very hard and you get typical Walloon asphalt. Lots of potholes. Luckily, you also get to see the rocks on the other side of the water. The climb winds through some houses and gets easier every time. You have views of the surroundings everywhere. There is hardly any traffic, the road is now in the autumn a bit muddy. Nice climb to do in stead of, for example, the Ch... read more

Nice climb to do in stead of, for example, the Chambralles.

Today I did both this side and the one from Aywaille. The latter is quite ok, but I would forget about this one. The route as marked on the map can't be right either - it's impassable with a racing bike (see picture). You have to follow the road through the village.

The first 200m are nice (but on a pretty bad road), the part in the village is not worthwhile at all, and the last part is common with the climb from Aywaille. So take that one!

That was indeed a mistake on our side. We've fixed it and it's now in the right place! Thanks for the feedback!
