great climb. Lovely views, amazing bike lane and only a little ramp in the middle, so you will have your breath back once it's time to really take in the view of Gordes. Once you're close to Gordes you've have to options 1 stick to the bike lane and deal with the pedestrians or go onto the road and deal with the cars. In the touristy season, there's plenty of both.... read more

The signposted route 33 takes you about halfway up this climb from Cabriere D'Avignon. There is often a dedicated track for bikes, however, some parts, although passable by road bike, are not well surfaced. The climb is not very difficult but it is very pretty.

steady climb up to Gordes. Before you arrive, you get a nice view of the little town on the mountain side.
