A nice climb to end my lap Col de Bavella from Solenzara via Lake Espedale as it goes along a typical narrow mountain road to a nice Corsican village of Conca. Then descend to Favone via an occasionally quite steep rough tarmac road that is nevertheless passable. You end up on the RT10 from where it's another 10km or so of cycling along this busy road to Solenzara with a few short bumps of 5-6 per cent. In my case, thunderstorms erupted and I arrived soaked at the flat where I was welcomed with applause by my family from the dry balcony. Nice homecoming! Unfortunately, no photos've been taken.
Leuke thuiskomst! Helaas geen foto's gemaakt.
