Beautiful long climb, you can start at the bottom of the coast. The start has fairly heavy traffic but there is a partial cycle path. At the roundabout you can choose between the route through the village and the busier road to the motorway. Once you are under the motorway and past the petrol station, there is a little less but faster traffic. Nice climb from the coast from Torrox Costa. You can go via Torrox Pueblo and via the (busy) road around it. Via pueblo more fun and beautiful. Then continue for 11 km to Cómpeta. Climb runs nicely, good road surface, small descent to about 3 km from the top.

Mooie klim vanaf de kust vanuit Torrox Costa. Je kunt via Torrox Pueblo en via de (drukke) weg er omheen. Via pueblo leuker en mooier. Daarna nog 11 km door naar Cómpeta. Klim loopt mooi, goed wegdek, kleine afdaling tot ca 3 km van de top.

mooie lange beklimming, je kan helemaal beneden aan de kust vertrekken. Het begin heeft redelijk druk verkeer maar er is een gedeeltelijk fietspad. Bij de rotonde kan je kiezen tussen de route via het dorp en de drukkere weg naar de autoweg. De weg naar het dorp heeft redelijk druk verkeer en is in het begin redelijk steil. Je stijgt tot een heel eind boven de autoweg waar je een mooi uitzicht hebt en krijgt dan een kort stukje afdaling waarna je opnieuw begint te klimmen. Na de rotonde met de afslag naar Competa neemt het verkeer af en begint het mooie gedeelte.
