The cooling effect of cycling under the shade of the beech trees is a welcome relief when the temperatures rise. This also opens up the descent to Finale Ligure which is spectacular. Thoroughly enjoyed this climb. Not particularly challenging in its own right, but you must do a lot of climbing to access the start of you are staying near the coast. For me it was bah, a climb I didn't quite understand.
Interesting part, in the middle of a beech forest at the end of the village.
But then it gets lost, it starts to have at least 2 false hills (it seems to get there but it doesn't).
The only nice thing, that to get to the pass, you pass through the old guard fort.
Apart from that, I didn't really enjoy it.

Per me è stato un bah, una salita che non ho ben capito.
Parte interessante, in mezzo ad una faggeta alla fine del paese.
Però poi si perde, inizia ad avere almeno 2 falsi colli (sembra di arrivare ma non è cosi).
Unica cosa bella, che per arrivare al colle si passa nel vecchio forte di guardia
Tolto questo, non l'ho proprio apprezzato.
