I can't say more than Fantastic!!! This climb takes you to the famous repsol garage. The road surface is in good condition and the hairpin turns make this climb so much fun. Is also done in the iron man 70.3 Definitely do it!!!

I’m love this climb firstly because of the breathtaking scenery and great surface but most of all because it’s a proper workout but not mega difficult .. just a couple of steep ramps but generally steady . If you can avoid the summer there is light car traffic too with bikes outnumbering cars

Dit is één van de mooiste beklimmingen van Mallorca. De ligging is ideaal voor verschillende rondjes, het asfalt is perfect maar bovenal: een prachtig landschap en hele fijne haarspeldbochten om jezelf op te testen. Bovenop een top café met goede koffie. Bestel bovendien de zachte cake die ze vers serveren.
Er wordt in januari een vijftal professionele koersen gereden en deze klim is de openingsklim van één van de wedstrijden. Ik ben eerst zelf naar boven gereden en heb toen gezien hoe een voor mij toch stevige beklimming door de profs gedeclasseerd wordt tot een verkeersdrempel.
Toen ik voor de tweede keer boven kwam, raakte ik aan de praat met een lokale bewoner. Ik gehuld in korte broek, hij volledig ingepakt met sjaal en al. Toen hij begreep dat ik uit Nederland kwam zette hij zijn imposante bril af en tikte lachend op de zijkant. Ik kwam dichterbij en las wat er stond: "MVDP". Hij knikte en zei: "You have good riders!".
Een heerlijke klim met mooi asfalt. Deze klim wordt nooit steil dus een prima opwarmer voor als je naar Sa Calobra onderweg bent. Vroeg starten zorgt er zeker voor dat er weinig verkeer is. Het kan hier overdag zeker druk met auto's zijn. Het is trouwens ook een heerlijke afdaling vanaf de top van de col. Leuk fietscafé op de top voor een lekkere koffie en een stuk gebak. Onderweg word je hier en daar op een mooi uitzicht getrakteerd en op tweederde van de klim ga je tussen twee rotswanden door.

Aanrader, deze klim. Prettige percentages, uitstekend wegdek, mooie omgeving, en toen ik er was veel minder druk qua auto's dan op andere klimmen in de buurt. Bovenaan is een tankstation, mocht je drinken of eten nodig hebben.

Werkelijk prachtige beklimming. Loopt erg lekker, nergens echt steil. Prima asfalt, dus ook als afdaling heel goed te doen (en uiteraard heel mooi).
