What a fantastic climb, from both sides! On brand new asphalt, well beyond Orient (we did this one in early May 2026 from Bunyola) it is now in fantastic shape. Wat een fantastische klim, van beide kanten! Op hagelnieuw asfalt, tot ver na Orient (wij deden deze begin mei 2026 vanaf Bunyola) ligt het er inmiddels fantastisch bij. Prachtig afwisselend landschap, van bos tot rotsen tot uitzichten. Heel weinig gemotoriseerd verkeer en ook relatief weinig fietsers. Heerlijke 'lopende' percentages. Fijn als opwarmer voor de zwaardere klimmen van Mallorca of juist om 'relaxed' mee af te sluiten. Ook goed te doen in combinatie met Col de Soller die we op dezelfde dag aan beide kanten beklommen.

A beautiful climb. There are a few short vicious passages in it, but apart from that it is mostly enjoyment of the surroundings you cycle in. It is also wonderfully quiet with virtually no traffic. The road surface is moderate, but that cannot spoil the fun.

OK, the road surface is not the best (especially the descent). But you cycle in beautiful surroundings, which makes up for everything. Also almost no traffic. Highly recommended!
