Magnificent climb. The switchbacks are well designed. The road is in perfect condition and traffic is very calm. The gradients are regular and don't exceed 5％ but don't go too fast as the pass is quite long.

Climbed 28 July 2021. Beautiful climb, definitely worthwhile. Not heavy traffic but good road. No facilities on the col. Note it is a south-facing slope and can therefore be very hot in summer. In the centre of Plan de La Tour is a good water source (see photo). Nice panorama towards the Mediterranean.

Beklommen 28 juli 2021. Mooie klim, zeker de moeite waard. Niet vee verkeer maar wel een goede weg. Op de col geen faciliteiten. Let op het betreft een zuid helling en kan in de zomer dus erg heet zijn. In het centrum van Plan de La Tour is een goede waterbron (zie foto). Mooi panorama richting Middellandse zee.
