No steep ramps after that either. Beautiful hairpin bends, partly between trees. Wide road and good tarmac. Relatively heavy traffic, but you pass each other well. On the left you can see the upper station of the Glacier 3000 cable car, the lower station of which is located directly on the col. The last kilometre is a little steeper, but easily manageable.
The scenery with views of the snow-capped peaks is stunning. The climb is actually quite doable, only the last one and a half kilometres are sometimes a bit of a strain, especially if you already have the Col du Sanetsch in your legs. In terms of traffic, it is fairly busy, but there is also plenty of space and good road surface, so it doesn't bother you very much. The pass itself is not necessarily beautiful, so just enjoy the view along the way ;)
Done in July 2019 as part of the loop Sanetsch/Cableway/Pillon/Croix.
The least climb of these, but the scenery is stunning.
Beautiful but not really difficult. I suppose the view is great if one takes the cable car. I didn't in any case. Lots of tourists.
