Really nice, moderate climb with nice views in places back down the valley. Gradient doesn't seem to change much and the surface is good except at the very top. Traffic can be heavier towards the bottom but by Levron its almost all gone, despite the buvette at the summit.... read more

At 3 a.m. on the Tour des Stations, the climb was very atmospheric, and the gravel section on the crest can also be ridden well with 28er road bike tires.

Beautiful climb, easily linked with others in the area or nice as a stand-alone. Top section is unpaved but very manageable on a road bike, even on 25mm tires in the dark. Some caution needed on the first few KMs of the descent on the other side as these are also gravel but overall very achievable and lovely ride

Climbed up via Col des Planches from Martigny. From the col, the road is unpaved and, in dry, sunny conditions, probably a beautiful route. Unfortunately, this time I was unlucky that it was grey and rainy.

Nice first climb of Tour des stations. Which actually starts in Volleges. On top few km of gravel. Careful with the first few metres of descent but then stunning views over the valley at Sion5

Mooie eerste klim van Tour des stations. Die eigenlijk in Volleges begint. Bovenop paar km gravel.
