After climbing to Le Fayet via the seven routes offered by Climbfinder, I'm going to try and rank them in order of interest. The least interesting is the route starting from Le Mas, which is not without its charm but lacks sportiness. Then there are the three alternatives via Savas, which are also not without charm, but too much traffic on such small roads with too many gravel sections. The climb from Boulieu lès Annonay could be much better, but it's always exposed to the sun, and... read more

The climb from Boulieu lès Annonay could be much better, but it's always exposed to the sun, and there's nowhere in the shade - it's hell in summer.
The Félines route is great but a bit too short.
My preference is for the ascent from Bouticon, which is taken by the Ardéchoise, far from being really difficult but very pleasant to climb.
In any case, you discover the beauty of the landscape as you climb, as there are no magnificent panoramic views from the summit.
