This is a really nice short spicy climb. It still starts off sweetly, but kilometre two and three hit mercilessly. Kilometre ten to well above 10％. There is plenty of shade, little traffic and nice views every now and then of the mountains. The descent is also definitely worthwhile. If you keep following the road you end up in a crazy gorge with moderate road surface.
Dit is echt een aardige korte pittige klim. Het begint nog zoetjes, maar kilometer twee en drie slaan genadeloos toe. Kilometer tien tot ver boven de 10％. Er is veel schaduw, weinig verkeer en mooie uitzichten zo nu en dan op de bergen. De afdaling is ook zeker de moeite. Als je de weg blijft volgen beland je in een waanzinnige kloof met matig wegdek.

Saturday morning on the way to the Col de Fanget: practically no traffic, three cars and four e-mountain bikes overtook me.
Very pleasant, but quite a steep but constant climb, especially in the middle part of the ascent. Nice landscape, nice views of the surrounding mountains from time to time. The road is mostly in the shade. Perfect asphalt, especially in the upper section!
Samstagvormittag auf dem Weg zum Col de Fanget: praktisch kein Verkehr, drei Autos und vier E-Mointainbikes haben mich überholt.
Sehr angenehm, allerdings vor allem im mittleren Bereich des Aufstiegs ganz schön heftige, aber konstante Steigung. Nette Landschaft, ab und zu schöne Ausblicke auf die umliegenden Berge. Die Straße verläuft überwiegend im Schatten. Vor allem im oberen Bereich perfekter Asphalt!
