The real climb is actually only 5 kilometres and they really hurt, don't be fooled by that 7% average in kilometre 4, I can't remember at all that the Garmin went below 8% in those first few kilometres, let alone an average of 7%.
Once this is done, the climb is over and, with a number of descents and false flat, it continues for several kilometres to the real summit.
Especially that first part is harder than the Col de la Mure as a whole.

Eenmaal dit gehad te hebben is de klim eigenlijk over en loopt het met een aantal afdalingen en vals plat nog kilometers door naar de echte top.
Met name dat eerste stuk is zwaarder dan Col de la Mure in zn geheel
