Gelijkmatige klim, opzichzelfstaand niet al te moeilijk, ware het niet dat je van te voren vaak al zo’n 350m moet klimmen (richting Charlieu). Eerste deel is wat grinderig, laatste stuk mooi glad asfalt. Op sommige stukken een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei eronder.
