Beautiful greeting, in my opinion less so than the col De Braus from which I started. The challenging part is between col de l Orme and pera caiva where there are spectacular and scenic hairpin bends. It dropped down exposed to the sun in this section. After covering the bulk of the approximately 600m difference in altitude between the two, the air becomes less heavy and the gradients much gentler. You can almost call the last 5/6km a false flat or so. Caution!!! Disastrous because there are no ... read more

After covering the bulk of the approximately 600m difference in altitude between the two, the air becomes less heavy and the gradients much gentler. You can almost call the last 5/6km a false flat or so. Caution!!! Disastrous because there are no water fountains except at the top. This is a constant from what I have not found between Orme Braus and the area. However stra deserves a diversion, I will try it from Sospel

Nice climb, long but only challenging in the stretch from Lucerane to Peira Cava, with little traffic and a relaxing final stretch in the forest.

Great views, steady climb with a bite and a big reward. A must do. If you can, loop at the top after reaching Turini t.o.c “Baisse de Tuis 🏔️” really worth it!

It's a nice climb, with the gradients not fluctuating too much between 6 and 8-9%
The more difficult sections appear later, on the outskirts of the Col de Turini, where it is also cooler. Disappointed not to have a nice "col de Turini" sign to take a nice photo!
The climb is magnificent, almost spectacular! A must-do.
