Climb in peace! For the safest descent, I would recommend either driving on to Grand Ventron and descending there, or turning right around.... read more

Climb in peace! For the safest descent, I would recommend either driving on to Grand Ventron and descending there, or turning right around.

Nice climb to continue from CDB from Wildenstein. Nice vistas into the La Bresse valley. The road up is narrow and there is hardly any traffic. Road is good to do. At the top sort of hiker's hotspot I believe. Will be beautiful there. Down to the lake is very bad in terms of road. Teeth are vibrating out :) Arrived at the lake, it is crowded. Fortunately, the cars's take the "route du lac" up/down and I take the "route de bauchaux" to La Bresse. The taffes what a steep thing it is (thankfully down :)) with great views of La Bresse. Road surface is reasonable. Highly recommended! Really nice road.

Wegdek is redelijk. Aanrader! Echt een leuke weg.

This climb was taken after the Col de Bramont from wildenstein. Firm climb but because of the length (2km) good road surface and almost no traffic. The descent to La Bresse to the lake moderate road surface.

I took it by accident, but I don't regret it. On our way to the Col de Ventron, we took the exit to the Col de Brabant. At the top, we continued via the Col de la Vierge and descended the back of the Ventron to Cornimont. Beautiful, quiet climb. Worthwhile!

Mooie, rustige beklimming. Moeite waard!
