Goed lopende klim die nooit echt heel lastig is, een mooie lengte om op te knallen. Verder richting de top krijg je uitzichten over een vallei en fiets je langs redelijke afgronden. Op de top heb je een prachtig zicht en zie je in de verte valleien kronkelen die door riviertjes zijn uitgesleten. Meerdere malen op gefietst en nauwelijks verkeer tegengekomen

Holidaying close by, this was part of a big loop I did and what a great climb; not the hardest, steepest or longest, but I can remember grinning from ear-to-ear when I finally reached the top in the sweltering Summer heat.

Climb starts off a bit punchy as you leave the town on a great road surface that continues all the way to the top. Lots of tree cover in the first half of the climb. It's when you reach the third hairpin that you start t see across the forests to the rest of the Cevennes and then the road offers up lovely views to the right of the valley below.
