Goed lopende klim, constant zo'n 7％ en nergens veel stijler. Veel stukken onder de bomen door. Omdat de klim aan de noordkant van de berg ligt is er sowieso veel schaduw, maar de weg blijft daardoor ook lang vochtig.
It's a pretty pass, the route is very shady, and there are few cars. It's a shame there are no viewpoints along the way. At the finish, the little resort of l'Alpe du Grand Serre is very nice.

Agree with Yolo by the way, the percentages here are not quite right. It just goes on at 7/8％ until the enelast km and then suddenly it's almost flat, so nice for a final sprint you ;)
Wat een heerlijke klim, vooral in de hete zomer. Hij is rustig, ligt bijna volledig in de schaduw, klimt mooi omhoog met enkele lichte stukjes tussenin én heeft een vette naam. Wat wil je nog meer?
Eens met Yolo overigens, de percentages hier kloppen niet helemaal. Hij gaat tot de enelaatste km gewoon aan 7/8％ door en dan ineens is die vrijwel vlak, dus mooi voor een eindsprint je ;)

Beautiful climb, myself a round trip made from Oz via this and Lac du Poursollet and back via the Col d'Ornon. In combination with the Lac du Poursollet secretly still quite a climb. After the descent from Lac du Poursollet we had a nice dinner at the restaurant at the top of this col.
Mooie beklimming, zelf een rondje gemaakt vanuit Oz via deze en Lac du Poursollet en terug via de Col d'Ornon. In combinatie met de Lac du Poursollet stiekem toch best een flinke beklimming. Na de afdaling van Lac du Poursollet lekker gegeten bij het restaurantje aan de top van deze col.

Beautiful climb with occasional views between the trees. I have ridden it myself during the Granfondo Vaujany so I have little experience with the traffic because the road is closed. The climb is never really steep and can be ridden at a regular pace, the hairpins are fairly flat so you can recover if necessary.
Mooie beklimming met af en toe vergezichten tussen de bomen door. Ik heb hem zelf gereden tijdens de Granfondo Vaujany dus ik heb weinig ervaring met het verkeer omdat de weg dan afgezet is. De klim is wel nergens echt steil en kan in het regelmatig tempo gereden worden, de haarspeldbochten zijn redelijk vlak waardoor hersteld kan worden indien nodig.
Sharp, but nice climb on good asphalt, largely sheltered by trees. End of the climb flattens out a bit, but I think it's later than the profile here suggests. Good signposting with gradients. Cafe at the top came in handy! Descent towards Séchilienne goes well, lots of slaloms, but again no descent to reach top speed.
Pittige, maar mooie klim over prima asfalt, grotendeels beschut door bomen. Einde vlakt wat af, maar volgens mij pas later dan het profiel hier doet vermoeden. Goede bewegwijzering met stijgingspercentages. Cafeetje op de top kwam goed van pas! Afdaling richting Séchilienne loopt lekker, veel slalommen, maar ook weer geen afdaling om topsnelheden te halen.
Very nice col. Nice even climb in wooded area. Good tarmac. Not too steep. Descent from the top towards Burg d'Oisans is phenomenal!
Erg fraaie col. Mooie gelijkmatige klim in bosrijke omgeving. Goed asfalt. Niet té stijl. Afdalen vanaf de top richting bourg d'oisans is fenomenaal!
Beautiful and quiet climb. To get to the foot of the climb you have to ride on the busy highway. Luckily you have the slope here at 3%.
I cycled myself last Saturday, at the foot it was about 15 degrees and a bit humid. Just before the top I turned off to the Lac du Poursollet. This should be a very nice route, but with 5 degrees above 1700m the fun was gone. Fortunately, at the top of the Col de la Morte, they had a good restaurant :-)
Mooie en rustige klim. Om aan de voet van de klim te komen, moet je over de drukke autoweg rijden. Gelukkig heb je hier de helling mee a 3%.
Zelf afgelopen zaterag gefietst, aan de voet was het toen zo'n 15 graden en wat vochtig. Vlak voor de top ben ik afgeslagen naar het Lac du Poursollet. Dit zou een erg mooie route moeten zijn, maar met een graad of 5 boven de 1700m hoogte was de lol er wel van af. Gelukkig hadden ze bij de top van de Col de la Morte een prima restaurantje :-)
