The Croix de Millet is indeed a nice climb. Not very long or steep, but for the less experienced climber it is tough enough to break. Descending I found less because of the winding character, narrow road and many forest.

Dear,
This is a mistake. This col is not the "Col de la Croix de Rocles" but the Col de la Croix de Millet (from Rocher as suggested here on the map) or rather from Luth (small district 1.5km lower than Rocher).
The other "col de la croix de millet" starts from Jaujac.
I climb these cols regularly (have a husije there) and believe me it is not at all crowded even in summer.
The col de la croix de rocles is a nice wide track that starts from the foot of the "col de Meyrand" towards Rocles Joannas and Largentière.
Goodbye
Olivier

Beste,
Mvg
Olivier
