Climbed on 29/12/2025. The climb up to Mons is really worth it. The scenery on your right is breathtaking and the sight of this small village gives you courage. The section between the Col de Valferriere and the foot of the Col de Cornille is a very busy road, fortunately taken in the downhill direction. The final ramps are very difficult. The final ramps are very difficult. Unfortunately, there's no Col de Cornille sign, and no clear view at the summit, only the satisfaction of having climbed such a long ascent.
On the other hand, the flats and gentle descents that feel good on the way up... hurt horribly on the way down.

A pass that is in fact a combination of 3 passes: at the end of each climb there is a small resting place that allows you to recover to better follow up, so in the end the 35 km are well done!
