I didn't particularly like this climb. It's not difficult, but there are quite a few large sections of false flat, very few hairpins... it's certainly better on the other side. Some beautiful views and very little traffic on the plus side!... read more

Fine, undulating climb. Certainly not tough and with a good road surface. Traffic is quiet there and the scenery is beautiful. We tackled it just before the Planche with 70 km already in our legs. We were able to ride it up nice and easy, and for the adventurous there is a nice steep goat path just before the summit itself with a very bad road surface. For this, you go straight around a bend. Fun to try.

Fijne, glooiende klim.

Nice gentle climb, nowhere too steep and also occasionally nice views. If you come from the direction of Melisey, turn right towards Saint Barthelemy, over the water left and left again at the town hall. You'll get a little further up the climb but cycle on a nice quiet road.

Quiet climb, on which you can choose your pace perfectly.
There are some sections downhill that make the climb very easy, which can also be cool for once.
I did this one after la Planche des Belles Filles and Col des Chevrères, but you can indeed, as Petn says, use it as a warm-up for la Planche.

Ideal second warm-up for the Planche. If you have done Col des Croix first, this is a runner towards Plancher-les-Mines.
