Redone a little less than 15 days ago, this is a nice pass in the shelter and above all ideal if you are not a regular runner or climber, as it is always on a gentle slope in a splendid setting, the steepest part is almost at the foot when you leave the road to Besse to go and find the first part after this tricky passage. The slope rarely rises above 6% during the first 17 km with even small moments going down before Valbeleix then we arrive at Compains and there. The road slopes for 3km before a final km on the plateau we can put the gear back on. The summit is in a clearing with a beautiful little lake below, you are in the region of the Lakes between Cézallier and Artense.
