Want a little extra on the Col de Braus? The Col de l'Ablé awaits you. It's a small, very clean road that climbs gently.
Having climbed it at night, I won't tell you about the scenery, but I can tell you that the forest is well inhabited...
The sounds of a forest at night are beautiful and mysterious.
At the top, this strange, twisted shack adds to the Hansel and Gretel atmosphere.

I did this climb during the cyclosportive Drapoise souvenir René Vietto on 23 June 2024.
The climb connects to the Col de Braus; you turn left 400 metres before the sommet (D54) and then climb a bit through a beautiful natural area that eventually connects to the road to the col de Turini. Actually, you climb longer than if you were to complete the col de Braus.
So included in this Granfondorit for a reason!
