Climbed on 27 June 2023. Variant via St Just and Le Cros (D251 and D 256) is very nice through beautiful forest and very steep sections above 10%. The climb is then 14.35 km with an average of just over 3%. It took me (pace cyclotourist) 1 hour and 2 minutes. Glad I got to the top! Good road surface, plenty of shade, can be 'chilly early in the morning ! Little traffic on this variant. Worthy that this variant is also mentioned on this site. On the col an auberge.... read more
