climb up narrow road with lots hairpins. quite a few cars on a weekday at lunchtime. hot in full sun! (no water no stream)

It attacks hard and then quickly calms down. You realise you're close to Nice because there are so many buildings everywhere. From up here, you get a few views of the sea.

It's a pleasant climb, and the descent to Le Colombier is really nice.

Ça attaque sévèrement puis ça s’apaise bien vite. On comprend que l’on est proche de Nice tant il y a de constructions un peu partout. De là-haut, on bénéficie de quelques vues sur la mer.
Et puis la forteresse du XIIe siècle est impressionnante.
Pas mal de trafic. Trop sur une route de ce type.
C’est une montée plaisante et la descente vers Le Colombier est bien sympa.
