Prachtige klim door een bos met veel schaduw. De weg is officieel afgesloten voor verkeer omdat in het middenstuk de weg bezaaid ligt met rotsblokken. Toch is het op de fiets wel prima te doen vond ik. Je krijgt er bijna 10 kilometer autovrij klimmen voor terug. Onderweg heb je mooie doorkijkjes op het Lac de Nantua. Het laatste stuk van de klim is makkelijk, het begin best nog pittig.
