I recommend this pass, whose ascent is effectively in two parts. The second part is rather long and monotonous, but you're lucky enough to come back down this way, so I think it's a little nugget: the landscape is revealed and you can pick up speed a lot.

For me, this climb is in two parts. The first part, up to Plan de Baix, has lots of hairpins that make you realise how high you're getting. The second, after Plan de Baix, is mainly a straight line through pastures, pretty but monotonous. The surface is of good quality and there is relatively little traffic.

The first part was very pleasant, but once I'd passed Plan de Baix, I got really hot, in full sun (late May), with no wind to cool me down. I had to suffer to get to the pass.
