A unique experience that takes you from Spain to France over a beautiful, little-used pass.

Nice start in France! The little town is very cosy to stay in! The roads on the Spanish side are better developed

Schöner Start in Frankreich!

A slightly long but regular pass. Good surface on the Spanish side of the descent. Views of the Canigou on the French side as you descend a little.

Did this from Mollo. Relatively easy with beautiful views and very little traffic. Interesting and moving info point at the top about the flight of refugees after the Spanish civil war.

After I first climbed Col d'Ares from France, then Valter 2000, I completely broke down on this climb in the last 7km, while it is a wonderful runner.
I didn't enjoy it much and was glad that I reached the top.
A bit too much to do that day.
