Mooie, onregelmatige klim die in verschillende fases omhoog loopt en daardoor telkens van karakter verandert. Steilere stroken worden afgewisseld met momenten om te herstellen, terwijl je onderweg steeds verder boven het dal uitkomt en mooie vergezichten krijgt.
Lovely climb. Divided into 3 sections..Ideal for sfaand climbing and in between pieces of rest. Nice how you slowly cycle up in relation to the village. One of my favorites in the Voer region.
Zalig.klimmetje. Opgedeelt in 3 secties..Ideaal voor sfaand klimmen en tussendoor stukjes rust. Mooi ook hoe je langzaam naar boven fietst ten opzichte van het dorp. Een van mijn favorieten in de voerstreek.
A nice three-stage rocket with a vicious middle section through a nice environment. When you get to the top you can descend again in no time towards many different climbs, which is always nice :) Otherwise okay road surface and not busy in terms of traffic
Een mooie drietrapsraket met een venijnig middenstuk door een leuke omgeving. Als bovenkomt kun je zo weer afdalen richting veel verschillende beklimmingen, dat is altijd fijn :) Verder oke wegdek en niet druk qua verkeer
Like a lot of other climbs in the area, this is also highly recommended. In any case, the climbs just across the border are a lot more fun than in South Limburg. The asphalt on this climb is a bit less.
Net als heel veel andere klimmetjes in de omgeving is dit ook een aanrader. Sowieso zijn de klimmetjes net over de grens een stuk leuker dan in Zuid-Limburg. Het asfalt is op deze klim wel wat minder.
Great fun climb. It is very quiet, there is little other traffic and the more you ascend, you get stunning views! The road has fine tarmac, propelling itself up at irregular percentages. Not that it gets very steep, but still. Absolutely recommended.
Geweldig leuke beklimming. Het is erg rustig, er is weinig ander verkeer en naarmate je meer stijgt krijg je schitterende vergezichten! De weg heeft prima asfalt, die zich met onregelmatige percentages omhoog stuwt. Niet dat het heel erg steil wordt, maar toch. Absoluut een aanrader.

Nice long(er) climb with irregular character. It starts fairly steep in the village and flattens out beyond. Between km 1 and 1½ you get the steepest part in front of your wheels. Then it flattens out again and only in the last 400 metres does it then rise again.
After the summit, you can turn right at the first junction to continue climbing the remaining part of Bois de Mauhin and then start the climb from Privôt to Rue de Maestricht via Wadeleux and Grosoneux. You are then about 8 km uphill.
Lekkere lange(re) klim met onregelmatig karakter. Het begint redelijk steil in het dorp en vlakt daarbuiten af. Tussen km 1 en 1½ krijg je het steilste deel voor de wielen. Daarna vlakt het weer af en alleen in de laatste 400 meter loopt het dan nog weer op.
Na de top kan je op de eerste kruising rechtsaf het resterende deel van Bois de Mauhin verder beklimmen en vervolgens via Wadeleux en Grosoneux beginnen aan de klim van Privôt tot aan Rue de Maestricht. Je bent dan ca. 8 km omhoog aan het rijden.
Beautiful long climb that starts right from the village and then continues for a long time into a beautiful rural setting. Superb views at the top, one of the most beautiful climbs in the area!
Mooie lange klim die direct vanuit het dorp begint en dan lang doorloopt tot in een prachtige landelijke omgeving. Schitterende vergezichten op de top, een van de mooiste beklimmingen in de omgeving!
Nice and beautiful climb. Mortroux is quite a pretty village by the river. The climb starts quite steep, then flattens out and gets steeper further on. Too bad about the real descent before the final summit, but overall you are climbing for a long time for this region. Tough? No, not at all. Nice to see? Definitely.
Leuke en mooie klim. Mortroux is best wel een fraai dorp zo aan het riviertje. De klim begint vrij steil, vlakt dan af en wordt verderop nog eventjes steil. Jammer van de echte afdaling voor de definitieve top, maar overall ben je wel lekker lang aan het klimmen voor deze regio. Zwaar? Nee. Leuk om mee te pakken? Zeker.

From a hard start in Mortroux it gets more relaxed between the houses. This changes when you enter the Voie des Morts because then the percentage goes up a lot. The road then stays lighter but still rises considerably until the first "top". Then a very light descent (almost flat actually) after which a steep climb to the end follows.

Van een pittig begin vanuit Mortroux wordt het tussen de huizen weer een stuk relaxter. Dat verandert als je de Voie des Morts ingaat want dan gaat het percentage flink omhoog. De weg blijft daarna lichter maar nog steeds behoorlijk stijgen tot de eerste "top". Hierna een zeer lichte afdaling (vrijwel vlak eigenlijk) waarna nog een pittig hellinkje tot het eind volgt.
Heel mooie klim en met fraaie uitzichten bovenin.
One of the most beautiful climbs in the area. The profile as indicated here is too short. The climb is much longer. On the left nice views to the north. A climb that goes up in stages. Mortroux is a nice example of a cosy Walloon hamlet.
Een van de mooiste klimmen in de omgeving. Het profiel zoals hier aangegeven is te kort. De klim loopt nog veel langer door. Op links mooie uitzichten naar het noorden. Een klim die in etappes omhoog gaat. Mortroux is een mooi voorbeeld van een knus Waals gehucht.
Nice climb, but I prefer Bois de Mauhin which starts a bit further towards Val-Dieu.

Even if the name of the second part of this climb reminds you of an old graveyard (Voie des Morts), you don't have to worry about getting broken up here. Easy going climb with in the beginning and between the trees two moments where the average is around 9%, for the rest enough meters to enjoy the view on the beautiful valley left.
I think the profile gives a bit of a wrong impression: The climb starts until the church with percentages of around 8 or 9 percent for the first 200 meters. Moreover, the actual summit is still 500 meters away compared to how it is marked in the map.
Ook al herinnert de naam van het tweede wegdeel van deze klim aan een oude begraafplaats (Voie des Morts), hoef je niet bang te zijn om hier kapot op te lopen. Gemoedelijke klim met in het begin en tussen de bomen twee momenten waar het gemiddelde rond de 9% ligt, voor de rest genoeg meters om van het uitzicht op het mooie dal links te genieten.
Het profiel geeft wel denk ik een beetje een verkeerd beeld: De klim begint tot de kerk met percentages van rond de 8 of 9 procent voor de eerste 200 meter. Bovendien ligt de eigenlijke top nog 500 meter verderop vergeleken met hoe het in 't kaartje is aangegeven.
