The bottom steeper part is the most interesting from a cycling point of view, but the changes in scenery should stop you from getting bored. Although traffic is light, this lane seems to get more than you would expect, mostly SUVs, and given it's very narrow then any encounter with a car etc will be a bit inconvenient. But it's a good climb, and also good in descent if a little scary as the gradient steepens and you head around blind bends.
