A beautiful twisty climb up the gorge. Definitely one to tick off and ride at least once, but avoid during peak times as it can the busy with cars and walkers.

Really busy with tourists and cars so time your climb well in advance to avoid them. Great climb, the gorge is special. Cheese isn’t bad either

Its lovely scenery. The bottom, (the steepest) part can be stupidly busy with tourists, coaches, walkers and the like.

A climb you actually do purely for the scenery, and not for the percentages. An ideal match: the mild gradient allows easier sightseeing ;-)

Obviously the views are beautiful but overall it’s quite overrated. It flattens out quite quickly and unfortunately since it’s very popular it gets quite busy, especially during the weekend, sometimes you may have to wait in a queue!
