The environment is fantastic - quiet, tree lined and the views at the top looking out over the cat and fiddle are beautiful. There is also almost no traffic on this road.
I would really recommend this climb because it is really quiet from cars and also really steep if you want to challenge yourself. The scenery is really nice going through the forest. It is steep enough that you need to go out of your saddle but not too bad.
