This climb is a bit of a search without GPS and also dead ends if you don't want to ride unpaved. The first part is still clear but after the left turn you suddenly have to turn sharply right and then left further up to the little gate. The gate is a nice end point and the last part runs in beautiful surroundings.
Deze klim is wat zoeken zonder GPS en loopt bovendien dood als je niet onverhard wilt rijden. Het eerste deel is nog duidelijk naar na de bocht na links moet je ineens scherp naar rechts en dan links verder omhoog naar het poortje. Het poortje is een leuk eindpunt en het laatste deel loopt in een mooie omgeving.
Put off for a long time, but did it now. The end point (the white arch in the picture) is nice, but the climb itself is not much. The part after the climb is gravel bike material... I had to get off because my wheels were slipping. After this part you come to an ironic courtyard which is worthwhile, see photo!
Lang uitgesteld, maar nu toch maar gedaan. Het eindpunt (de witte boog op de foto) is leuk, maar de klim zelf stelt weinig voor. Het gedeelte na de beklimming is gravel bike materiaal.. ik moest er af stappen omdat mijn wielen weg slipten. Na dit gedeelte kom je op een ironisch binnenpleintje wat dan weer wel de moeite waard is, zie foto!

If you want to join this illustrious company you start on the bumpy cobbles on the Lucaslaan in a very quiet part of Heilig Landstichting (which is already very quiet by itself). At the end of the lane you make a strange S-turn to sprint towards the white gate. If you prefer to keep your bike clean you can turn right at the gate, otherwise you can go a few hundred metres to the right over a not too crazy unpaved path to the special designed Cenacle Church.

Wil je tot dit illustere gezelschap toetreden, dan begin je op de hobbelige klinkers op de Lucaslaan in een heel rustig deel van Heilig Landstichting (dat van zichzelf al heel rustig is). Aan het eind van de laan maak je een rare S-bocht om richting de witte poort te sprinten. Hou je je fiets liever schoon dan maak je weer rechtsomkeert bij de poort, anders kun je een paar 100 meter naar rechts over een niet al te gek onverhard pad naar de bijzonder vormgegeven Cenakelkerk.

Waneer je boven komt moet je daarna een stukje over een bospad om weer op de verharde weg te komen. Niet heel erg handig met je racefiets, maar wel te doen.
