Deze fraaie maar inderdaad in de week vaak drukke helling wordt in wielerkringen ook wel de Nieuwe Hallembaye genoemd.
Climb over a wide through road with excellent asphalt. The road seems almost forbidden for cyclists but cycling is allowed. I rode here on the weekend and it is not busy. This could be different on weekdays. The road starts with a nice climb over a straight section where you have a left view of the strange tower of Eben-Ezer. After a short descent the road starts to climb again. A nice section follows with some views to the left and further on you ride between two rock faces. Towards the end, the road climbs a bit more until it reaches the traffic circle (here too the view towards Zichen).
Klim over een brede doorgaande weg met prima asfalt. De weg lijkt bijna verboden voor fietsers maar fietsen is gewoon toegestaan. Ik reed hier in het weekend en dan is het niet druk. Dat zou door de weeks wel anders kunnen zijn. De weg begint meteen met een lekker klimmetje over een recht gedeelte waarbij je links uitzicht hebt op de vreemde toren van Eben-Ezer. Na een stukje afdalen gaat de weg weer relaxed klimmen. Er volgt een mooi traject met wat uitzicht op links en verderop rijd je tussen twee rotswanden door. Tegen het eind gaat de weg weer wat meer klimmen tot het eindpunt bij de rotonde (ook hier uitzicht richting Zichen).
