A must do climb in South Wales. Steep start and then a pull all the way to the top.

The 'main event' is the big, sweeping 270˚ bend that then takes you up alongside the rock face to the top. Like the Treherbert ascent, to get to the actual top of the mountain you have to take the turning to Port Talbot and head across the flattish moor to the radio tower.
The start is down Do this with the other two side of the Bwlch (from Treherbert and from Cymmer) and you have a serious amount of climbing, akin to alpine cycling and great training for if you're heading to the Alps.
