I rode this one the day after Limburgs Mooiste 2026, so to speak. It starts quietly, but halfway I started to feel the 90 km of the day before, so it was hard work. It is not so long, beautiful scenery, only there are a few blind corners in it, so keep to the side to avoid oncoming traffic on 4 wheels.
Ik heb deze opgereden een dag na Limburgs Mooiste 2026, uitrijritje zeg maar. Hij begint rustig, maar halverwege ging ik toch de 90 km van een dag eerder voelen, dus was het nog ff aanpoten. Hij is niet zo lang, mooie omgeving, alleen er zitten een paar blinde bochten in, dus netjes aan de kant blijven fietsen ivm tegenliggers op 4 wielen.

Slingerweg vanuit het Maasdal naar Sint Geertruid. De klim is met buitenblad te doen. Aan de linkerzijde fiets je langs een natuurgebied. De weg kan druk zijn, maar is voorzien van goed asfalt en brede fietsstrook.

The climb starts as soon as you pass the turnoff to Moerslag. As you turn left, the gradient rises quite a bit. When you get a view of the church in St Geertruid, you are almost at the top at the junction with Julianastraat.
De klim begint zodra je de afslag naar Moerslag voorbij bent. Richting bocht naar links loopt het stijgingspercentage aardig op. Als je in St. Geertruid de kerk in het zicht krijgt ben je nagenoeg boven bij de splitsing met de Julianastraat.
Nice little climb over perfect tarmac. You start with a nice view to the right. When you ride through the long bend into the woods, it only gets a little steeper. You can't see where the top is but because the climb is not really long you can't really make a mistake.
Lekker klein klimmetje over perfect asfalt. Je begint met een mooi uitzicht rechts. Wanneer je door de lange bocht het bosje in rijdt wordt het pas wat steiler. Je ziet niet waar de top is maar omdat de klim niet echt lang is kun je je niet echt vergalopperen.

Een heerlijke weg met fietsstrook om naar boven te fietsen, met uitstekend asfalt. De omgeving is ook mooi met beneden een mooi dalletje (achterom fraai uitzicht op Moerslag). Verderop een holle weg (hier gaat het percentage omhoog) in die leuk omhoog slingert tot aan de kerk. Al met al een lekker maar niet zware helling en een aangename klim.
Lovely climb in beautiful surroundings. The road has recently been renewed and looks beautiful. Coming from Eijsden you first get a long run of false flat. From Moerslag you can immediately accelerate. The beginning is fantastic. But beware, if you go too fast then the last 200 meters hurt.
Heerlijk klimmetje in een prachtige omgeving. De weg is recent vernieuwd en ligt er schitterend bij. Komende vanuit Eijsden krijg je eerst een lange aanloop vals plat. Vanuit Moerslag kan je gelijk gas geven. Het begin loopt fantastisch. Maar pas op, ga je daar te snel dan doen de laatste 200 meter pijn.
