Vigoleno is a very well preserved castle that is worth visiting besides the bicycle ride! But, reaching it from Piacenza with your bike is even better. The climb is fairly steady and constant with good tarmac. Once you get to the top of the hill, there is a nearly flat section right until the last steep climb to the castle itself. You can go under the arch and get inside the castle, it's worth it!
