The most beautiful and the toughest climb in this area. Past a large Marien cave you dive into a deep hollow road that winds up and gets steeper. Under the pedestrian bridge is the steepest part. Then you have to go on for a while and it's soon over. At the top you come across a beautiful hiking area. The road is car free and has good tarmac but can be dirty.
De mooiste én de zwaarste klim in deze omgeving. Langs een grote Mariagrot duik je een diepe holle weg in die omhoog slingert en steeds steiler wordt. Onder de voetgangersbrug is het steilste stuk. Daarna nog even doorzetten waarna het snel over is. Boven kom je uit bij een mooi wandelgebied. Het weggetje is autovrij en heeft goed asfalt maar kan wel vies zijn.

Een heus kuitenbijtertje. Is maar kort en dus is de pijn snel geleden :-) Modder, blaadjes en stukjes dood hout maken de weg glad als het nat is. Voordat je aan de klim begint passeer je een grote Mariagrot en de Sint-Lambertuskerk in de buurt heeft een markante toren.
Quite tough but beautiful nature and avoiding detours.
Behoorlijk pittig maar mooie natuur en vermijden van omweg.
