Onlangs nog gedaan en het is een zeer leuke beklimming tussen de bossen. Geen enkel probleem om met de koersfiets naar boven te rijden, het is asfalt en het is in deftige staat. Mooi, onbekend alternatief
One of the only climbs in the Flemish Ardennes from the original list of klimtijd.nl that I had not yet done, but rightly so! What a great climb! The bars in the beginning and at the end are a bit awkward to pass and make you think you have to go over some sort of forest path, but the road is nicely tarmacked and no problem for a racing bike. The climb is nice and steady and not too steep, and the forest you ride through is fairy-like - at least in spring when I passed it. I will definitely be back!
Een van de enige beklimmingen in de Vlaamse Ardennen uit de originele lijst van klimtijd.nl die ik nog niet gedaan had, maar onterecht! Wat een geweldige beklimming! De barelen in het begin en op het einde zijn wat onhandig om te passeren en doen vermoeden dat je over een soort bospad moet, maar de weg is mooi geasfalteerd en geen enkel probleem voor een racefiets. De beklimming is mooi gelijkmatig en niet al te steil, en het bos waar je doorrijdt is feeëriek - toch in de lente wanneer ik er passeerde. Ik kom er zeker nog terug!
Unknown steep section through the woods near Geraardsbergen. You have to take it when you plan a ride around the Wall. The same goes for the nearby Voskesstraat. Although the road is far from optimal, it should not be a problem with a racing bike. Watch out for hikers!
Onbekende steile strook door het bos in de buurt van Geraardsbergen. Deze moet je meepakken als je een rit plant rondom de Muur. Hetzelfde geldt voor de nabijgelegen Voskesstraat. Hoewel de weg verre van optimaal is, mag deze geen probleem vormen met een racefiets. Opgelet voor wandelaars!
