Short but unrelenting climb to reach the Ridgeway. Not particularly exciting as it's hemmed in by hedgerows. However, the ride off the top down to Lambourn is well worth the climb - 8 kms of descent across beautiful downland scenery.

I've only ridden this to get up onto the Ridgeway. If you're gravel biking it is a good way up probably better than past the White Horse but not as scenic. If you're road riding it's a quieter road to cross the Ridgeway.
