After my introduction to this hill earlier in the week I decide to go back and now cycle up from St Esteve. In the descent I enjoyed the view and now I'm going up this side. A nice runner where you can give good gas. There is little or no traffic and the climb is nice. If you are at the top turn right on the parking lot look over the wall and enjoy the view of the Ventoux and especially the vast vineyards below you. ... read more

The climb is not too long and invites you to ride briskly because of the fairly even and not too high percentages. At the top, the peace and quiet of the picturesque village overwhelms you. If you want to cycle a bit uphill in Provence without worrying about that long, steep mountain, this climb is a very nice addition.

This road winds with 2 faint hairpins between the vineyards and pine trees up to Blauvac (lovely little village). The climb is not difficult but just nice to pick up. When you get to the top of the church you have a beautiful view to 2 sides. There is also a restaurant with a nice terrace.
