Afwisselende klim die rustig opbouwt vanuit het dal en onderweg steeds wat meer pit krijgt. Na een smallere afslag volgt een kort maar stevig stuk in dubbele cijfers, waarna de helling opnieuw wat milder verderloopt richting de top.
Coming from the direction of Crawhez, the climb starts at the point where the Berwinne flows under the road. The gradient slowly increases towards the hamlet of La Clouse. The first steeper part is near the primary school. At the school you turn right onto Birven. It then flattens out until the next junction. Gelukkig is dit maar een kort stukje en vlakt het vervolgens tot aan de splitsing met de Rue du Mémorial Americain af.
From the beautiful valley of the Berwinne up. First on a good road that winds up mainly along houses. After the school you turn sharply right into a small road with moderate asphalt. Vanuit het mooie dal van de Berwinne omhoog. Eerst over een goede weg die voornamelijk langs huizen omhoog slingert. Na de school ga je scherp rechtsaf een klein weggetje met matig asfalt in. Even omhoog, dan vlak en dan volgt een behoorlijk steil stukje waarna de helling nog vrolijk doorgaat tot vlak voor het eind. Fraaie uitzichten naar rechts en naar achteren en vanwege de wisselende omstandigheden een leuke klim.
