Het eerste gedeelte kan je amper klimmen noemen - op het einde loopt het ietsje steviger naar boven en kan je al eens een demarrage plaatsen. Fietspad bolt deftig! Toen wij er reden zeer rustig (was wel een zaterdagmiddag)

De beklimming begint eigenlijk pas na 1km buiten Lubbeek centrum. Hier kronkelt de grote baan naar boven en is de stijging moeilijk waar te nemen, maar voel je de percentages wel. Loopt nog best lang vals plat door tot in Binkom. Goed om de benen op te warmen voor de zwaardere klimmetjes in het Hageland, maar het vele verkeer maakt de beklimming niet ideaal voor fietsers.
