The first part can hardly be called a climb - at the end it climbs a bit more firmly and you can already place a breakaway. The cycle path is decent! Very quiet when we rode it (it was a Saturday afternoon).... read more

I normally avoid this climb because a busy lane is located there. There is a good cycle path though.
First kilometre can hardly be called false flat. Had tailwind and was able to pick up speed on the big gear.
Climb starts at tree line level. The climb never gets really hard.
After the top there is a descending section and then a spur that can also get into your clothes, near the ice cream parlour to the stone road.

The climb actually starts after 1km outside the center of Lubbeek. Here the main road winds uphill and the gradient is hard to see, but you can feel the percentages. It's an easy climb all the way to Binkom. Good to warm up the legs for the heavier climbs in the Hageland, but the heavy traffic makes the climb not ideal for cyclists.
