I had to take this climb a few times to get to/from Intra. Not to be underestimated after 1800m of climbing in the legs. Very busy and road condition is ok.... read more

Wide, clean road with a constant stream of traffic. Not a great climb in itself, but good warmup for one of the beautiful climbs further up.

Ascent to Verbania from the north, avoiding the busy state road along the lake. Wide climb, well paved road and "open" start that help mentally to push on. If you start off strong, you have to hold on until the end.
At the village of Bieno, where there is a traffic light on the left, there is a fountain.

Nice little climb from Fondotoce. Small steep bit in it, but otherwise fine runner. Good road, but busy.

Leuk klimmetje vanuit Fondotoce. Klein steil stukje erin, maar verder prima loper. Goede weg, maar wel druk.
